盧凱彤是華語樂壇首位公開出櫃、並宣佈結婚的女歌手。2017年，他憑藉著《還不夠遠》一曲，獲得第28屆台灣金曲獎最佳編曲人；於台上發表感言時，他宣布已和太太在國外結婚，並以「我知道這個世界不完美，我的音樂不完美，我的人不完美，但有了你，誰還需要完美。」一段真摯的感謝，讓許多同志朋友在現場及螢幕前感動落淚。
盧凱彤獲獎不僅是音樂事業的突破，身分出櫃的行動亦直接鼓勵到許多同志朋友，讓大家學習接受自己的不同與差異。令人遺憾的是，盧凱彤因長期受躁鬱症的影響，於2018年墜樓身亡。

Ellen Loo was the first female singer in the Chinese music scene to publicly come out and announce her marriage. In 2017, she won the Best Arranger award at the 28th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards for her song Not Far Enough. During her acceptance speech, she revealed that she had married her wife abroad and expressed heartfelt gratitude with the words: “I know this world is not perfect, my music is not perfect, I am not perfect, but with you, who needs perfection?”—moving many LGBTQ+ fans both in the audience and watching on screen to tears.
Ellen Loo’s award marked a milestone in her musical career, and her public coming out inspired countless LGBTQ+ individuals to embrace their differences and accept themselves. Sadly, she struggled with bipolar disorder for many years and passed away in 2018 after a fall.

盧凱彤（エレン・ロー）は、中華圏の音楽界で初めて公にカミングアウトし、さらに結婚を公表した女性歌手である。2017年、盧凱彤は楽曲『還不夠遠（まだ遠くまで行けていない）』で第28回台湾金曲奨（GMA）の最優秀編曲賞を受賞した。授賞式の壇上で、妻と海外で結婚したことを明かし、「この世界は完全ではなく、私の音楽も私自身も完璧ではないと分かっています。でもあなたがいれば、完全など必要ないと思うのです。」と誠実な感謝の言葉を述べ、会場とテレビの前の多くのLGBTQ+当事者が涙した。
盧凱彤の受賞は単なる音楽的成功にとどまらず、カミングアウトという行為そのものが、多くの当事者を励まし、自らの違いや独自性を受け入れる勇気を与えた。残念ながら、長年双極性障害の影響に苦しみ、2018年に転落して亡くなった。
